I'm not mad at all, actually, i'm glad about the sm64 port, i think i saw it sometimes in the summer, when i was really busy, so i didn't leave any feedback. Razius should be fine with it (which Star Fox 64 HD is primary based on as a porting project). But I wanted to at least have a start on it. * Know any good codes? Great, let me know and I add them into the code section here. * Only codes that improve the quality of the game are requested such as improving upon difficulty (extram damage), fun (instant items) or visual experience (60 FPS, widescreen, extended view). * Only use one Widescreen code at a time. * Select "Stretch to Window" (Graphics -> General - Display - Aspect Ration). * Disable the "Widescreen Hack" (Graphics -> Enhancements). * Each spoiler is tagged with the game version. $ Widescreen Aspect Ratio Fix for 16:9 (Gecko Code) Ships -> Great Fox and Arwings are mostly finished.Objects -> Corneria as a planet is finished.Comm Channel -> The background box, Rob64 and General Peppers are finished.Characters -> Fox, Peppy, Slippy and Falco are partially finished.Multiplayer -> Partially finished, stages still missing.Fonts -> Partially finished (highscore, dialogue, menu, names, etc).Planet in the planet selection or highscore list have a rotation special effect which is dumped an infinite amount of times. These features are not available for the older stable 5.0 build. Use the latest development build or the latest Ishiiruka build which allows for DDS BC7 support and decreased RAM usage for DDS BC7 packs. DDS BC7 pack requires around 250 MB of RAM while the PNG pack requires around 940 MB of RAM. Supported Mario Kart 64 versions: NTSC-U (PAL and NTSC-J should work too). Newer versions of WinRAR should work too.
You might need to download 7-zip to unpack them. Both packs are packed in the 7-zip format. Both the PNG and DDS pack are uploaded and are NOT optimized through optiPNG yet. Check out my signature for links for my other texture packs of N64 games for Dolphin (Virtual Console or GameCube re-release). This texture pack is based on porting textures from Project64 (Nintendo 64) texture packs, just like my other texture packs. Perhaps yet another N64 title for the VC. The time to fully realize Star Fox 64! What might be next? Honestly, no clue. It is yet another porting project in order to bring the HD experience from Nintendo 64 emulators such as Project64 towards Dolphin's Virtual Console. I'm not sure about VC for Wii U but I've heard that Nintendo finally puts rumble support in there, it's a significant feature because Star Fox 64 made heavy use of it in which Wii's VC lacks at.It has been long overdue, but it is finally coming: Star Fox 64 HD. It may not be a worthwhile to play this game on Wii or Dolphin when a better version exists, like Star Fox 64 3D for Nintendo 3DS and even the original version on Nintendo 64. It's Virtual Console (VC for short) that's being horrible. Multiple problems I'm seeing in this game differentiate from the original are also on real Wii. This title has been tested on the environments listed below: However, compatibility may extend to prior revisions or compatibility gaps may exist within ranges indicated as compatible due to limited testing. The graph below charts the compatibility with Star Fox 64 since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred.Ĭompatibility can be assumed to align with the indicated revisions. This title does not need non-default settings to run properly. There are no reported problems with this title.Įnhancements 16:9 Widescreen NA $16:9 Widescreen This is a bug with the Wii's Nintendo 64 emulation and also occurs on a real Wii. Many levels are not properly lit due to lacking proper VI filter emulation that provides correct gamma output.
